Our History: Can your valuation software do this? That’s the question a classmate working at a VC asked Lorenzo Carver in 2002. The task was deceptively simple: determine how much our fund gets taking into account every right and preference of the securities we hold and the securities others in the deal hold. In the process of building the solution, bigger issues became apparent such as "Why does this data only stay in the back office at funds?" and "Why does it take hours and days to input financial information whereas thousands of applications exist that can crack a password?"

After 7 years of intensive research and development, Liquid Scenarios, Inc. was created to market the valuation platform, disruptive technologies, application suite and interfaces that answer these questions.

CEO/Founder: Lorenzo Carver, MS, MBA, CPA wrote one of the top selling small business valuation applications ever, advised hundreds of companies, including massive successes like AlienWare, is the author of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts’ "5 Mistakes Your Auditor Made" course, studied music at Berklee College of Music, and invented the Carver Import Algorithm, Search2Model and OferX® .

COO: Henry L. Wright, MBA developed and deployed market strategy at Sun Microsystems, SpectraLink and Vocollect Inc. He successfully deployed systems, software, wireless voice solutions and services into 125 countries.

Technical Team: Our technical team has worked together through bpCentral with our founder for nearly a decade now. Outside of Liquid Scenarios development the team of advanced degree holding physicists, mathematicians and C++ experts have won numerous awards, including being selected as a TechCrunch 50 company, developed some of the most popular video and audio systems currently used on the web and identified new mathematical methods used globally..

Technology: Liquid Scenarios is built upon two core proprietary technologies. CIMPA (the Carver Import Algorithm) for importing financial reports and simultaneously transforming those reports into interactive models anyone can use.

The other core technology is OferX® (Open Financial Explanatory Reporting XML) for understanding, interacting and automatically auditing financial reports, including those converted to models through the Carver Import Algorithm.
