Our primary objective is providing applications that increase our customers' competitive advantages each and every time they interact with our solutions. We believe that providing your personal and/or company information to any outside parties is INCONSISTENT with this primary objective. To provide a high level of security, and prevent unauthorized access or misuse of your personal and/or company information, we implement 128K security encryption on all pages that require you to enter or access personal information. While this procedure may slow system response times for certain users, we believe the benefits of this approach outweigh the costs
Free Trials and Models
If you wish to sign up for a trial of a bpCentral product or participate in the free modeling offer you must first complete the registration form. During the registration you are required to give contact information (such as name, title, firm, address, telephone number, and email address). Information collected as part of the registration process will be used to verify your identity as a private equity or venture capital professional. Verifying your identity as a private equity or venture capital professional is a condition for downloading a free trail of a bpCentral product or receiving a free portfolio company model.
We DO NOT request or require any demographic information such as income level or gender information on any of our registration forms.
Orders
If you purchase a product or related support services from us, we request certain personally identifiable information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, title, firm, address, telephone number and your email address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date, etc.).
We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.
Special Offers and Updates
We will occasionally send you information on products, services, and other promotions if you register with our site. You can sign up for these emails from us following receipt of an initial welcome/confirmation email sent to the email address you provide.

Customer Service
Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide us, we will send you a welcome/confirmation email to verify receipt of your information. We will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your account. bpCentral, Inc. is the sole owner of the information collected on liquidscenarios.com and bpCentral.com. bpCentral, Inc. collects personally identifiable information from users that submit information by way of our registration forms and contact forms.
Social Security Numbers
We will NEVER ask for your Social Security Number and you should never USE your Social Security Number in any of our forms, as a password, username or otherwise under any circumstances.
Survey or Contests
From time-to-time we may provide you the opportunity to participate in contests or surveys on our site. If you participate, we will request certain personally identifiable information from you. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Uses of Information
When you provide registration information, the use of that information is generally obvious within its context. For instance, when you enter shipping information in an order form, we use that information to deliver a product you have ordered. Similarly, when entering billing information, we use that information to verify the authenticity of the credit card transaction you are attempting to make. In the case of free trials and modeling, we sometimes use your address and firm/company information to confirm that you are in fact a member of the private equity or venture capital community.

We DO NOT store information that we collect through cookies, log files, clear gifs, or third party sources to create a "profile" of your preferences. Nor do we not tie your personally identifiable information, and [or] your purchasing history, to information in the profile, in order to provide tailored promotions and marketing offers and to improve the content of the site for you. However, we do use cookies to allow customers to login to our site and also to populate order forms to make checkout more convenient.
Supplementation of Information
We DO NOT supplement the personal information you submitted to us with information from third party sources.
ID/Address Verification
We use third party software to process credit card transaction. As part of the software vendor's fraud protection measures, your identity and address may be verified in order to prevent fraudulent use of credit card information.
Information Sharing and Disclosure Aggregate Information (non-personally identifiable)
Our marketing and research team, to the extent they deem appropriate, may utilize aggregate survey results or responses for marketing purposes, such as brochures, press releases or other marketing communications.
We DO NOT link aggregate user data with personally identifiable information.

Agents
A credit card processing company is used to process approvals and billings of purchases made on our site. The credit card processing company does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes.
A trusted third party is used to deliver and track delivery status of your order. The trusted third party delivering the order needs your name, address, firm, order number and telephone number to deliver products you order from us.

Choice/Opt-out

Log Files
