Search Result #6 DonDodge.typepad.com 4 Values Cited - (move primary to underneath DonDoge) Primary Transformation In 2 minutes
Basic angel and venture terms from DonDodge.typepad.com converted into a living dashboard across 100 exit values in about 2 minutes included the following (see pages 21 to 23):

    • Angel investors invest between $500K and $2MM (used midpoint of $1.25MM)
    • VCs invest between $2MM and $10MM in first round (used midpoint $6MM for series A)
    • Liquidation Preferences make valuation critical (applied 2X Liq. Pref. to series B and C)

    • “Several Installments” - Another (extra space was here) key item noted on the site that we instantly incorporated into the model after generating 100 exit scenario outcomes for the founders, angels, venture capitalists and option holders, was the use of “tranches” or “draws” for the angel round (wordy, but hard to get around it).
